Attention all 7th and 8th grade families awaiting a response about NJHS. Thank you for your patience! Due to our very stormy winter, it was more difficult than ever for the Faculty Council to meet and review all 80+ packets. Letters will be sent out SOON, and most families can expect them the week of March 10th. If a student is selected, there will be a formal induction ceremony at Keene Middle School’s cafeteria on Thursday, April 10th at 5:00 pm. Expect to be at the ceremony until approximately 6:30 pm. Each student is allowed no more than two guests to help celebrate the success.

Monday Night Jazz Band will have rehearsal from 6:30 - 8:00 tonight in the band room.
There will be a rehearsal after school today from 2:30 - 3:15 for any students in the Honors Band.
The IMC will have a month of activities celebrating Dr. Seuss and Read Across America. Come to the library and answer a trivia question about the famous Theodore Geisel or find a hidden Cat In The Hat to enter a drawing!
Showchoir: Rehearsal this week is Tues. from 2:30-4:00. Please be ON TIME.

Evolution dance will not meet on Tuesday. Class will resume on Thursday
Tickets for the March Dressy Dance go on sale starting tomorrow during all lunches! On Tuesday, tickets will be available for all 8th grade students. Wednesday will be sales for 7th grade students. On Thursday, 6th grade students may buy tickets, and Friday will be available for all students to purchase tickets. Tickets are five dollars.

Attention Girls basketball players who signed up for March Madness. March Madness will begin Tuesday March 11th.
KMS is celebrating World Language Week this week. Each day a part of the announcements will be in different languages. There will be after school activities on Wed., Thursday, and next Monday. Everyday there will be a trivia question and prizes to be won. Today's trivia question: How many different complete languages (not including dialects) are there in the world? a) 5, 000 b) 56 c) 2,700.
Student Council will meet in Mr. Painchaud's room today from 2:45 to 3:30. Please wait in the bus room to be picked up.
